Kraszewski Museum

The Kraszewski Museum serves as a vibrant platform for intensive exchange between Germans and Poles. It was founded in 1960 in the former residence of the renowned Polish author. This is where his significant works were created. Once a refuge for Polish emigrants seeking support, the house is now a central meeting point for the Polish community. The permanent exhibition on Kraszewski’s life and work is complemented by changing exhibitions that illuminate the culture and history of both nations. The museum collaborates with museums, galleries, and cultural institutions in Poland and Germany, organizing a wide range of events and large-scale projects such as the Days of Polish Literature in Dresden.
