Saxon Folk Art Museum

Both young and old, who want to discover or experience the rich Saxon folk art, will find what they are looking for in the atmospheric Jägerhof, which is four hundred years old. The museum provides a diverse insight into the world of folk art, showcasing both the richness of ancient traditions and new works located at the intersection of everyday life and art: enchanting carvings from the Erzgebirge, printed and embroidered textiles from the Lausitz, magnificent Sorbian costumes, and masterful lace from the Vogtland; painted furniture, elaborately decorated ceramics, and an exceptionally extensive collection of historical toys.
